Dream Decoding- Introduction to the Dreamer

Updated: Aug 19, 2019

Ah, the world of dreams. A world filled with the bizarre and the magical and sometimes the haunting and the harrowing . And no, i’m not talking about the dreams we work towards in waking life, but the ones that visit us at night. Dreams are in fact a fascinating and unique doorway to our own psyche and everything that comes with it. There is not a lot we can’t discover about ourselves by listening to the illusive messages and role plays conveyed by the subconscious at night. Our deepest darkest secrets that show up in the safe space protected from the outside world, or even those magical beings that visit us in an unconscious state to take us by the hand and lead us to explore the unknown.

Dreams act as a number of different doorways, all of which we experience in a unique way, depending on how we personally perceive and project the images of our reality. Our dreams will take on a ‘unique code’ that speaks personally to us. To the dream interpreter, it means we play codebreaker deciphering those messages. There is no one size fits all when it comes to dreams, so having an understanding of the individual creating those dreams when translating them, is imperative. So how do we even know where to start? A common question I come across that has people running to the dream interpretation websites that in truth, don’t hold an awful lot of it; but a valid question to start with when it comes to engaging in a game of codebreaker to your own subconscious.

So with each blog, I will take you a little further down the rabbit hole, through the mystical realms of dream time, so that you too, can learn to master the language of your own subconscious mind...
