Dream Decoding- Pandora’s Box

One of the number one questions that people ask when it comes to dreams, is why are they so complicated to translate? Why not just play out the exact scenario it needs to relay so that you can understand it better?

The unconscious is designed as a safe space whereby you are able to physically identify a difference between reality and the dream state. This is a mechanism created to protect you because some of the things that are acted out in the dreamstate can be horrific and deeply taboo in nature. It was created this way so that the active mind is able to create an identifiable boundary line and can mentally separate ‘real’ from ‘not real’. Without this, many would become so traumatised by the way that things often play out in the dreamstate that you would physically feel what happened in the dreamstate as something you had actually experienced in waking reality and wouldn’t be able to separate the two. This is why drugs can be very damaging in nature because they blur the line between the dreamstate and reality to such an extent that the individual hallucinates and creates a doctored reality completely through hallucinations. Overuse to the weakened neurological structure can then create a lens over the actual reality even when not using, playing two images at once which when merge, create a reality that is founded on ‘hallucinations’ which can be very dangerous. We can also experience a watered down version of this when using alcohol, to those of you that have ever woken up next to someone that looks like a different person to what you thought the night before! Hence why these substances were created in the first place...to disconnect you from reality...but that's another story for another day!

The bizarre nature and construct of dreams are designed as a fragmented code that you have to put together to understand the overall nature of what is being depicted and communicated. Being able to work with your own dreams, is a cornerstone to really understanding and being able to translate the inner workings of you at the deepest level.
