Dream Decoding- Death in Dreamtime

That’s right people, as we on the toes of entering into scorpio season, I felt today we would cover one of the most frightening things to experience in a dream, and that being death. Physically dying or being murdered in a dream. The interesting thing about death dreams however, is that I have found people to be more scared of the prospect of them than actually experiencing them. It has been rumoured that it is not possible to die in a dream and if you do, there is a strong chance you will actually die because the subconscious will think its real and instruct the body to follow suit.

I can tell you that I have had multiple dreams of being murdered and am still here to tell the tale so try not to worry too much. The dreamstate is set up as a safe room to act out and revise things that it would not be wise for the human to do in real-time. Experiencing yourself dying in a dream can be an indication of more than one thing however. Most often, dying indicates the collapse of a timeline, a path we were headed down that we no longer hold the energetic alignment for. Often these come after we have committed to a new life and put into action new behaviours that support it, so to the identity, it sees it a physical death to the human and this then plays out in the subconscious.

Death in dreams can also show themselves when we are retrieving a lost aspect of ourselves from a past life, this way we know the aspect is connected to a past life as we die at the end of the dream but it is showing us to something we have already mastered in a prior lifetime so pay attention to what you were doing leading up to the death. Another way we can experience death is as a precautionary indicator and one that is not to be ignored. These dreams will often show themselves as you being physically attacked or murdered by people you recognise and this is an indicator that you are headed down a path this is not for your highest good and giving your energy away to things and people that will use you as a battery pack and you are physically ‘in danger’ if you allow it to continue…
