The ostracization of intelligence

One thing that I have battled with more over the years than anything else is the ridicule of intelligence.
We have, as a society, created a system that factors intelligence based on the letters and numbers that appear after a person’s name and a testament to how many years they spent in government approved education systems and even within those constrictions, we have created an image of what an ‘intelligent’ person looks like. We have created terms such as ‘geek’ to describe individuals with an aptitude which are derogatory and mocking in nature and immediately attach the label of being weird, when in truth, those that have the aptitude to learn and create something different in a world where everyone is clambering over themselves to be the same and accepted by peers, are the only ones that actually make a difference and are the reason for every technological advancement that you see before you and the reason why you have things that make your existence more enjoyable and the world a more accessible place.
There has been, for eons, a stigma around those that choose to better themselves and delve deeper into the nature of their existence, not only for their sake, but also for the sake of others.
Growing up, I had a natural and inspired interest in the human mind and how it operated which naturally lead me to learn everything I could about it. I considered doing a university course in psychology and psychodynamics to become a psychologist many times, but I found that the syllabuses were incredibly limited and based on what people already thought they KNEW about psychology, and not what was left to be discovered. To me, there was always a huge proportion of the field of psychology missing, a missing link, and knowing that deep down, determined me to find it for myself, as in truth, there was nothing available for me to access inside a university anymore, that I couldn’t access outside of it, apart from a piece of paper saying I had a government approved understanding of the application of psychology. To me, scientifically approaching something, such as offering a chemical prescription solution, to a non- chemically based issue, made no sense and I didn’t want to spend 3 years of my life and a huge outlay of finances, to be told and educated on something that I didn’t believe would help anyone in the long run because there was so much information missing, just for the sake of being taken ‘seriously’ in a government approved way.
Through 5 years of self directed day in day out rigorous study, trial and testing, I found the missing link and felt confident enough to offer my services as a practitioner that could assist someone in moving back into a complete state of physical and psychological balance by reading their cellular blueprint and looking at the whole body as an energetic system, the imbalances; effectively, showing themselves in areas where there was a short circuit in the electrical system causing a build-up of energy. The way the body responds and physically then shows the imbalance, is down to which communication centre of the body the build up resides in. The communication centres of which, are far extended beyond the simple recognition of the ‘physical’ and the ‘psychological. These 2 bodies however, are the only 2 that we offer separated ‘solutions’ on in the current healthcare system.
The illnesses that currently hold diagnoses inside the structure of healthcare are basically identified due to their subtle variations in how they show themselves chemically inside the body. We have millions of different illnesses given names which are all just subtle variations of exactly the same thing, just showing themselves chemically in different ways based entirely on the individual. This chemical make-up is the result of the body attempting to overcompensate or undercompensate for a build-up or blockage in the electrical field of the body and depending on where the build-up or blockage energetically is, is where the route of the imbalance sits.
I chose the line of work that I have done because I genuinely love it and truly care about humanity. I never however, envisaged I would come up against such challenges when trying to implement something new into the world that went against the previous ideologies of.
I never wanted to feel ostracised or cast out or unable to operate inside modern society because of the way I see things or the way in which I acquired the skills that I have because I genuinely believe that the only way to implement change at any level is to make what you are offering relatable and acceptable to the masses and although it is still the early years of self employment which carry with them a multitude of challenges when making your vision heard and trusted in the world, I also want to be a part of something bigger with others that also share my vision, because I also love working with people and strength grows in numbers.
I have applied to many psychology and healthcare related jobs as it is the area where I feel I can make most of a difference but never even got an acknowledgement in my direction after any of them even having written accompanying essays to show my willing and expertise because the way I learnt the things that I did, was not a recognised body of learning and it would go against the specifications of what was ‘required’ with the job. It has been heartbreaking at times and although I have years of experience in the customer services field, I started to feel so taken for granted, exhausted and working completely out of integrity because of the way so many hospitality and customer service companies still currently operate, I didn’t know which way to turn. There is no lack of honour in doing anything that you enjoy, even if it is waitressing, but in truth, having to go back and do that line of work again just to keep myself alive and the people around me happy broke my heart over and over again and I have been judged many times as being lazy, selfish or for thinking I am better than others when none of this was true and my heart, intentions and actions were always from an aligned space. Perspectively to others however, it appeared differently to them, based on their personal life experiences and the conditioned mentality of what ‘hard work’ looks like and the human reward system. Because of my understanding of the human brain, it was never that I didn’t recognise or sympathise with others for viewing me in this way, I understood why they would think that, but at the same time, felt such deep frustration for feeling so isolated because none of it was true. I have felt like a caged animal because entering into the world of mass acceptance for the skills I have in the way that I acquired them that actually makes a difference requires someone else’s complete faith and trust in my abilities and are willing to give me a chance that would be a step in shifting the paradigm of recognising self directed education. It would be a step in recognising skills and not labels.
Einstein once said that ‘you cannot solve a problem from the same angle it was created from’. He said that over 100 years ago and it still applies now. We are experiencing a rise in the demand for beds in hospitals, a completely unexpected shift in the world’s poles leading to a rise in unexpected and unanticipated weather fluctuations, earthquakes and volcanic activity and governments that people are rapidly loosing faith in because of the amount of conflicting information, pointless squabbling over what is right and wrong due to pride and outdated beliefs and individuals still not recognising that we all live on the same planet and yet are still trying to go at these problems with the same thinking and solutions to how they were created in the first place and it will never work. Confusion is the route of irrational behaviour. When people are confused and they don’t understand and their beliefs are being questioned and loose their stability, the brain has been programmed to act irrationally to protect itself. This can even be as simple as someone living and believing one thing their whole life and then they see something they have no explanation for, such as someone acquiring skills they are not approved by an education system or a child genius being born to parents with a very humble background. You cannot ever reason with someone that is acting irrationally until they calm down. Que a nation of confusion and irrational behaviour, particularly when you throw all the above in with terrorism and other mentalities that people don’t understand and don’t feel in control of and you experience chaos that is literally crying for a new solution. Not the application of something outdated that doesn’t work anymore.
So truly, if you stumble across this blog and share this vision, then please get in touch so that we can create something with greater coverage and accessibility to others. No man is an island and if the current structures won’t accept we need a new way of thinking and problem solving, then we have to create a bigger family out of those that already see it and want to make a difference. I simply don’t have the, following, platform and finances at this moment in time to reach as many people as I want to reach and need that help but I do have the skills and see what needs to be done.
